Product Description

The design and specification of below-ground drainage often falls to a structural engineer, despite the subject typically not being the focus of their training. This apparently stems from the fact that in many instances, below-ground drainage impacts upon the design of foundations; which does fall within the structural engineer’s design responsibilities. Hence, the design of drainage and the substructure is typically grouped together, in order to ensure that some form of coordination is achieved.
