A hybrid conference dedicated to enabling the reuse of existing structures and the reuse and repurposing of structural materials.

Structural engineers are uniquely placed to facilitate the reuse of existing structures and infrastructure as well as the individual structural materials and elements.

The annual Reusing existing structures hybrid conference provides structural engineers with a forum to share the latest practical tools and guidance for adaptive reuse, refurbishment, and retrofit projects. Supporting the transformation of more existing structures and maximising the life span of existing structural materials.

The 2024 conference has a practical focus on enabling the reuse and repurposing of structural materials in projects, breaking down the barriers to the wider adoption of reclaimed materials and waste management, highlighting circular economy opportunities and sharing insights from across the construction supply chain.

At this conference, you’ll hear first-hand from the experts; gaining insights from technical presentations, inspiration from case studies and putting your questions to our industry panel.
