Our Young Members Group is based in Dubai, at Heriot Watt University, Dubai Campus, in Dubai International Academic City.
This is also the venue for our events, which include lectures, competitions and other social activities. Our events are open to engineering students in universities across the UAE, and we have previously worked with the University of Bolton in Ras Al Khaimah and the American University of Sharjah.
Our events give young members a chance to interact, socialise and build networks with students from other universities and engineers from the industry.
They also help young members gain knowledge on the importance of
professional development and how it is achieved.
We also reach out to high schools to educate students about engineering and more specifically structural engineering.
