Learn more about the key developments that will be implemented in the next revision to EN1992-1-1.

This lecture looked at the process and programme of development for the next Revision to EN1992-1-1. It described the main changes that can be expected in the current design provisions and will shed light on the new design information contained within Annexes to the new code. This includes rules on assessment of concrete structures, design of fibre reinforced concrete and the use of steel fibre reinforced polymers.

Reasons to watch

  • Learn about the process of code development and the timescales involved for implementation of the new code

  • Understand the improved design methods to be introduced in the new code

  • Gain knowledge of the increase in scope of the new revision compared to the current standard

Speakers
