The Young researchers conference returned for its 24th year. This online event featured the best research projects from PhD students in structural engineering.
Eight young researchers presented their work to a panel of judges. The afternoon also included an inspiring keynote address from Dr Mariapia Angelino of WSP and a presentation from the Research into practice competition winner Dr Smail Kechidi.
The panel of judges comprised of both academics and practicing engineers from the IStructE Research Panel and an industry guest.
