The featured article for Volume 42 (August 2022) of Structures was chosen by Associate Editor, Lei Wang. He has chosen an article that shows the increase in shear resistance for reinforced concrete beams. This is of relevance as it relates to UK code BS8110 and shows differences between its outline and those featured in Eurocode 2.
