A lunchtime online talk on how to navigate the challenges of working with historic structures.

This online talk will provide attendees with an outline of skills that are used when working with existing structures and a discussion of some of the problems that an engineer can come across with case studies.

There can be many challenges that a conservation engineer can come across that would not typically be experienced when working with new structures. This talk will shed light on some of those challenges and can equip current and future engineers with skills related to renovating old structures and conservation engineering.
