Wind Loads on Buildings

The Institution learns with deep regret that the following members have lost their lives on active service:- BUXTON, Lieut. L. S., Coldstream Guards. KING, Lieut. M. A., Royal Engineers.

MANY distinguished guests and members of the Institution were present at the meeting, held in the Institution’s lecture hall at 11, Upper Belgrave Street, London, S.W.1, on Thursday, October 7th, 1943, when Major A.H.S. Waters, V.C., D.S.O., M.C., M.Inst.C.E., M.I.Mech.E., M.I.Struct.E., delivered his Presidential Address.
