Showcase your skills, achievements and how you’re driving the profession forward and become an ambassador for IStructE.

Who should enter?

The award is open to all Graduate and professionally qualified structural engineers regardless of the size of projects you have worked on. The judges have chosen criteria that highlight you as an individual and give you the opportunity to talk about all aspects of what drives your passion for being an engineer.

Stage 1:

There are two routes to enter the award, either:
 

For employers

  • Submit an up-to-date CV for your chosen nominee (document should be no longer than 1 A4 pages)
  • A letter of endorsement outlining why your chosen nominee should win the award Young Structural Engineering Professional Award
 
Self-entry
  • Submit your up-to-date CV (document should be no longer than 1 A4 pages)
  • A 300-word piece on how your skillset and experience is aligned with being an active leader in the Structural Engineering profession

Stage 2:

If shortlisted after stage one, you will be reqiured to give a presentation of the project you are most proud of working on as part of an interview with a panel of judges.
