This online lunchtime talk will be hosted by Everyday Dazz, a well known youtuber in the civil engineering community. It will be an opportunity for young graduates and engineers to learn about the techniques that Dazz has learnt since becoming a chartered engineer, his approach to design, as well as the ups and downs of juggling a youtube platform with his engineering career.
There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A at the end for aspiring Youtubers/Engineers.
Darren Wong, Curtin
Darren is a chartered structural engineer since 2013 and expert witness since 2021. He setup a YouTube channel called Everyday Dazz to share his knowledge and experiences.
Throughout Darren's career he has designed projects ranging from tiny house extensions to multi-million pound structures. He has experience designing in the four major construction materials. He lead and manage projects from concept to completion.
Darren has a passion to mentor and share knowledge which is why he has started the Everyday Dazz channel. He also loves new tech!
